Can I change the size of my storage unit during my contract?
Yes, you can change your storage unit at any time, subject to availability at your HOMEBOX center. This is a convenient option if your needs change (moving, budget adjustment, or a change in the volume you need to store).
France, Germany and Switzerland
How it works:
- The center team will show you the available unit sizes and assist you with the transfer.
- The alarm in your old unit is deactivated, and the alarm in the new unit is activated once the transfer is completed.
- Your insurance is automatically transferred to the new unit.
France and Germany only
- Your access code will change, as it is linked to your unit. The team will provide you with the new code.
Spain
How it works:
- The team will show you the available unit sizes.
- The alarm is transferred from the old unit to the new one.
- Your insurance is updated automatically.
- Your access code does not change.
There are no administrative fees for this change. Procedures may vary slightly depending on the center.
