What happens if the main account holder passes away?
In the event of the contract holder’s death, relatives must contact the HOMEBOX center to arrange the termination of the contract or its handling as part of the estate process.
A death certificate will be required, as well as, depending on the situation, proof of family relationship or a document issued by the notary in charge of the estate.
For security reasons, HOMEBOX cannot grant access to the storage unit to other individuals unless they already have the access code and the key or padlock code.
The HOMEBOX center team remains available to support relatives through these steps with discretion and care.
