I am extremely grateful to the HOMEBOX team who sent me an urgent quote, allowing me to finalize a last-minute move. I had a storage unit available the same day, with a size that perfectly matched my needs. The manager I spoke to on the phone was very professional and readily available. The entire process was handled quickly, partly by phone and partly by email. The manager was also very helpful during the move. I highly recommend HOMEBOX in Joué-lès-Tours; I am completely satisfied. Thank you again!

How do I get to our self-storage center in Tours?

HOMEBOX Tours is located in Joué-lès-Tours, to the south-west of the city and close to Chambray-lès-Tours, Villandry, and Saint-Avertin. Our center is accessible via the A85, D751, and D37, as well as by bus on line 30, Cugnot stop. And if you would like to meet us to find out more about our storage units, our agency reception is open Monday to Saturday with a midday break. Please note that some rental packages even give you access to your storage unit 24/7! For those living in the north-east of Tours, our self-storage center in Blois may be more suitable depending on the location of your home or business.

In what situations should you rent a storage unit in Tours?

Renting a storage unit is suited to a variety of personal and/or professional life situations: For students at the University of Tours or private schools in the metropolitan area who wish to give up their apartment during an internship, an exchange, or the summer holidays; For families undertaking renovation work on older properties in the historic center or who do not have enough space in their house; For first-time buyers or in the context of buying and selling a property at different times, to avoid paying rent on top of their mortgage; For sports clubs and associations to protect their equipment from bad weather and theft during the off-season; For sole traders who do not have a large enough home to store their stock; For small businesses, SMEs, and public administrations to store their tools, communication materials, and archives in a clean, safe, and accessible location.

Storage unit rental in Tours: a secure storage center

HOMEBOX centers are 100% secure thanks to a partnership with a remote surveillance company. To access your storage unit at any time you choose, a personal access code is also provided to you at the start of your contract. Of course, all belongings stored in our self-storage units in Indre-et-Loire are also protected against fire thanks to a modern fire detection system.

What is the price of a self-storage unit in Tours?

Depending on their size and access conditions, not all storage units for rent in Joué-lès-Tours are available at the same price. Our packages also take into account the storage area and the rental duration of your self-storage unit when estimating the price. However, the price of a self-storage unit in Tours is estimated at approximately €65 per month for a 2 m² storage unit suitable for storing the contents of a studio apartment, and approximately €185 per month for a 10 m² storage unit suitable for storing the belongings of a small 80 m² house.

How long can I rent my storage unit?

While each contract requires a minimum occupation period of two weeks, there is no maximum rental duration for our storage units in Tours, as is the case throughout France. Some of our clients occupy their self-storage unit for less than a month, just long enough to find suitable accommodation or handle an estate, while others may keep their storage unit for years as a genuine extension of their home or shop.
