We had rented a Homebox storage unit but didn't get a chance to use it due to logistical issues and opening hours: We arrived at the unit on Saturday at 5:06 PM (due to unforeseen traffic delays) just as it was closing at 5:00 PM. We had a fully loaded 13m³ van, rented specifically for this purpose. After driving nearly 200 km, it was rather frustrating to be stuck there for just 6 minutes... We tried calling to get someone on the line to find a solution, but without success. Ultimately, being stuck, we had to resort to renting another unit that same day from a competitor (24/7 access): - We were able to get someone on the line until 6:00 PM who answered our questions. - The entire process of booking the unit, paying, signing the documents, and picking up the keys was then completed online in just a few minutes. We then immediately stored our belongings before our return trip. Our opinion on the Homebox service: Positive points: 1) Very professional, friendly, and attentive team. They were eager to help. If we had been able to speak to someone on the phone, the problem would certainly have been resolved. 2) Clear explanation of the access process for the storage units. 3) Clean storage units with available and self-service handling equipment. 4) Quick and easy cancellation. Negative points: 1) The website's mention of 7/7 access from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM can be misleading: In reality, and if we understood correctly, only the outdoor units have this access. But unless we're mistaken, this isn't specified on the website. 2) Incomplete presentation of the range of available storage units before booking: The team helped us choose the size of the unit. For the size we selected, there was only one unit left. And it was in the building. So we went with that one by default. No mention was made of the storage units with extended access. It might be helpful to present things differently: a) Present the range of storage units: - Indoor storage unit: restricted access - Outdoor storage unit: extended access b) Determine if the customer wants: b1) Prioritize security (restricted access) or b2) Accessibility (slightly less secure but 24/7 access from 6 am to 11 pm). c) Determine the size of the storage unit d) If the unit obtained is in b1) or b2) and it matches the customer's choice, it's perfect. Otherwise, perhaps offer them a larger unit that would still meet their b1/b2 requirements. 4) It's a shame the storage units close at 5 pm on Saturdays. Extending opening hours could be beneficial for people who don't have availability during the week. Despite our unique experience, we recommend Homebox for the quality of their service.

It's straightforward and hassle-free. From the website, you're guided according to your specific needs and quickly contacted to schedule an appointment. You then get a storage space quickly. During the rental period: no worries, everything is secure with a digital entry code and surveillance cameras. You can access the facility at any time, and everything is provided (elevator, hand truck, trolley, etc.). And the same applies when you want to end your rental. After three years, I was able to cancel easily: the process is explained in the terms and conditions, or you can call reception. They contact you quickly to arrange a daytime appointment—everything is designed to make things easy. All my belongings were intact thanks to the excellent storage conditions. And as always, the staff is very welcoming. A very good experience. I highly recommend it!

Excellent experience: very clean premises, constant temperature in summer and winter, easy access and parking, very functional equipment, sufficiently wide corridors for maneuvering with the provided trolleys, the option to purchase packing materials on-site, and very friendly and attentive staff. Finally, very reasonable prices for all the services offered. Without Homebox, my arrival in this new city would have been much more difficult to manage. Thank you again.

The conditions for renting a storage unit are reasonable, it's very secure, the staff is attentive and always ready to offer advice. There's equipment available on-site to help with transporting your belongings, and you can also purchase additional items at reception if needed. If I were to store my belongings again for a period of time, I wouldn't hesitate to use Homebox again. I've even recommended them to my friends if they need storage.
