Honestly, I had a last-minute move (one day before moving day), arrived 5 minutes before closing time, and the guy who greeted me was super friendly and smiling. We looked at the storage units, I picked one, we signed the contract (standard procedure), and he solved the problem of moving my furniture to the storage unit by lending me a truck (which was miraculously there), all in under 30 minutes. Frankly, without them, I'd probably be in a really bad situation. (Note: I had already gotten a quote the previous week, but the unpredictable nature of the move/key return, etc., prevented me from confirming the rental in advance.) P.S.: The welcome pack was the icing on the cake. Thank you, HomeBox!

Everything was PERFECT. I urgently needed a storage unit during a difficult time in my life. Grégoire listened carefully to my needs and advised me on the best option for renting a unit. Everything was explained very clearly, with no hidden details. Grégoire and Basile are very transparent and professional. Some might find the price expensive, but I think that compared to renting a property, for a temporary solution between two residences, the price was reasonable considering the services provided. The premises are clean, secure, air-conditioned, and dehumidified. Dollies, hand trucks, and pallet jacks are available to facilitate unloading. Access until 11:00 PM is a real plus. A van was loaned to me for the 100km rental; you just need to fill up the tank, and it's very convenient. Once again, no issues whatsoever. I was careful with the vehicle and my deposit wasn't deducted at all. They're very honest and even send a quick message to let you know everything is in order. When I returned my storage unit yesterday, the one-month notice period began, and today, as I write this review, my unit has already been rented. Grégoire and Basile immediately notified me by text message that it had been taken over, which once again highlights their professionalism. I also received the security deposit refund this morning. In short, if you want to store your belongings or furniture in very clean and secure facilities, and if you want to deal with a professional, attentive team with a strong customer service focus, you can confidently choose Grégoire and Basile. If I had to do it again, I would definitely choose Homebox Dunkerque.

I cleared out a shed piled high with various boxes and crates, not to mention trunks filled with just as many different items. So I rented a storage unit from Homebox. Thanks to the very friendly manager's excellent advice, I even got space for a bicycle. The unit was clean and secure, located in a clean and secure warehouse with a code and alarm. A large machine in the warehouse manages the humidity level. No humidity, no odor. Everything was perfect. A welcome gift... a very welcome and thoughtful touch!

The welcome was friendly. The help provided in choosing a storage unit of the right size was much appreciated. The units are equipped with ventilation to prevent any humidity problems. Each unit is very clean, has an individual lock, and is located in a warehouse with an alarm system. Frankly, the place is ideal for storing our belongings. And I was delighted to receive the welcome gift! 😉

Excellent service at HOMEBOX Dunkirk. After requesting a quote online, I was immediately contacted by Grégoire, who offered me the best available rates after taking the time to understand my needs. I then went to the store to view the storage units that met my criteria: clean, secure site, clear explanations, nothing to complain about. The visit was quick and efficient, and I left with a 2 m² unit perfectly suited to my storage needs. A simple, professional, and truly pleasant experience! Thank you to Basile and Grégoire. See you soon!

Know more

Where is our Dunkerque storage unit rental center?

Our storage unit agency is located just 10 minutes by car from the center of Dunkerque, via the route de Bergues. It is also accessible by public transport via bus lines 18 and C3. On-site, our staff welcome you Monday to Saturday for any request to open or close a storage unit rental contract, change your space size, or simply ask for information. The storage center is part of our self-storage network in the Nord department and allows us to provide storage solutions to individuals and businesses in the north of the department. Our secure storage units welcome both private individuals and professionals from Dunkerque, Malo-les-Bains, Ghyvelde, Zuydcoote, Cappelle-la-Grande, Bray-Dunes, Bergues, as well as neighboring Belgian municipalities such as La Panne, Furnes, and Nieuport.

What is the price of a storage unit rental in Dunkerque?

The price of a self-storage unit in Dunkerque is calculated on a case-by-case basis, depending in particular on the occupancy duration, the requested space, and the location within the storage center. For example, when calculating the price of a self-storage unit for a move, we will need to know the start and end dates of the rental, the size required based on the property you wish to vacate, and whether you prefer a storage space near the entrance or on an upper floor.

How do our Dunkerque self-storage spaces protect your belongings?

Our storage units in Dunkerque benefit from the same level of security as our storage unit rental center in Lille, with alarm systems and video surveillance in place. And its added bonus? A humidity control system — ideal if you are storing paintings or any items sensitive to moisture.
